NetDEF

The Network Device Education Foundation, Inc. (NetDEF) is a not for profit 501(c)(3) Corporation formed in February of 2013.

The Mission of NetDEF is as follows:

  • Technology awareness and education to the general public.
  • Provide grants for advanced technology development to individuals as well as organizations both in the United States and around the world.
  • Develop, test and support Open Source Software (OSS) including Quagga via the OpenSourceRouting project.
  • Provide open and neutral testing of both hardware (Routers, Switches, etc) and software (vRouters, SDN Controllers, etc) via SDNTesting.com and RouterAnalysis.com

Board of Trustees:

The Board of Trustees of NetDEF is its governing body and is responsible for all affairs of the organization worldwide.
